Aloha Wailea Ekahi Homeowners,
There’s on-going vendor work around Ekahi, with minor noise disturbances that could impact a guests stay. I wanted to bring you all up to speed before the holiday weekend.
What Tree L.L.C, is continuing to take down the overgrown weeds in the gulch, and as expected, there was more work than anticipated once they got down there. Maluhia has graciously allowed our vendor access to their South side gate, so their crew can remove the debris as they go. They are still finishing up some tree work as well, and trimming will continue into next week. We should be finished by Friday November 15.
Pacific Asphalt will continue finalizing the details of the parking lot project with rock wall repairs, curbing improvements, and other minor items on our punch list. We might need to move a guest car for a repair, or cone off a couple stalls at a time, but I don’t foresee any issues with parking availability.
If you haven’t reviewed the schedule for the 2025-2027 exterior painting project, it is posted on the Ekahi Owners Website under current projects. I’m still developing the FAQ, so please send me an email with your questions, so I can share details with the entire ownership group. I aim to get that out to you all in the first week of December and will continue to update as more questions arise.

Our maintenance and landscape shop will be closed on Monday November 11th in observance of Veterans Day, and no construction can be scheduled. The AOAO office and pool departments will remain open.
Our AOAO office will be closed for 4 days over Thanksgiving weekend, including Friday November 29th.
Finally, we are celebrating Arsenio Villanueva next Friday with a retirement luncheon to honor his 16 years of service in Ekahi’ s Landscape Department. Arsenio’s natural leadership and sense of humor will be greatly missed by our team here. Help us wish Arsenio an Aloha hui ho if you see him around.
