For those of you that have visited in the last month, you may have noticed that the Pavilion Chaise lounge slings continued to rip even after they were covered by warranty and replaced the second time. We went back to the distributor again since our other slings at the outer pools are not having any issues, and those were replaced in 2021. This was a manufacturer defect and they have agreed to send another replacement set with the assurance the replacement set will be reinforced for our environment and frequent use.
If we removed all of the torn chaise lounge chairs, we would only have 14 out plus the 12 Costco chairs by the Pavilion. There are about 6 that are broken and need welding repairs or replacement.
We are getting consistent complaints from Owners and Guests and wanted to make you aware that we are doing everything we can to resolve the issue. Our goal is to receive and install the slings before the end of the month.
There is funding in our reserve study allocated for new pool furniture in 2024.
