{"id":183,"date":"2023-10-26T01:25:01","date_gmt":"2023-10-26T01:25:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/waileaekahi.com\/blog\/?p=183"},"modified":"2023-10-26T01:25:05","modified_gmt":"2023-10-26T01:25:05","slug":"love-for-lahaina-culinary-pop-up-series-extended-into-november","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/waileaekahi.com\/blog\/?p=183","title":{"rendered":"Love for Lahaina culinary pop-up series extended into November"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Due to an outpouring of community support and interest,&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fourseasons.com\/maui\/\" target=\"_blank\">Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea<\/a>&nbsp;is extending&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fourseasons.com\/maui\/dining\/restaurants\/love-for-lahaina\/\" target=\"_blank\">Love for Lahaina<\/a>,&nbsp;the&nbsp;sold-out series of culinary pop-up events&nbsp;created&nbsp;to benefit and directly support the hospitality industry and farmers across the island into November 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adding three more events to the schedule, the pop-up dinners take place every Sunday where diners can enjoy signature dishes from celebrated Lahainaf restaurants and beloved chefs as they simultaneously give back to those who have been directly impacted by the recent wildfires on the island\u2019s west side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Available\u00a0every Sunday from 5-9 p.m. between Nov. 5 \u2013 19, 2023, each culinary pop-up features a\u00a0three-course prix fixe family-style menu\u00a0for\u00a0USD 95++ per person, including a glass of Champagne compliments of Love for Lahaina sponsor, Champagne Laurent-Perrier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The additions to the line-up of culinary events as part of the Resort\u2019s Love for Lahaina series includes:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Nov. 5, 2023:&nbsp;<\/strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opentable.com\/booking\/experiences-availability?rid=1326589&amp;restref=1326589&amp;experienceId=211009&amp;utm_source=external&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=shared\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Sale Pepe by Chef Michele Di Bari<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>An authentic Italian restaurant that was nestled in&nbsp;Lahaina, Sale Pepe defines itself as one part Milan, one part Brooklyn, and all Maui. Known for Chef Michele\u2019s hand-crafted pastas and artisanal pizzas, which highlight fresh, local ingredients, Sale Pepe\u2019s fun, social atmosphere always promised an authentic, warm, and satisfying experience.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Nov<\/strong>.<strong>&nbsp;12, 2023:&nbsp;<\/strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opentable.com\/booking\/experiences-availability?rid=1326589&amp;restref=1326589&amp;experienceId=210992&amp;utm_source=external&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=shared\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Duckine by Chef Alvin Savella<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A local-Chinese fusion with a playful nod to the popular local expression \u201cDa Kine,\u201d Duckine featured a duck-centric menu full of edge, unique flair, and flavor. Focusing on food, family, and fusing local culture with Chinese cuisine, the menu crafted by the talented Executive Chef and owner Alvin Savella (aka \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/thekitchenassassin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Kitchen Assassin<\/a>\u201d) is inspired and innovative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Nov. 19, 2023:&nbsp;<\/strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opentable.com\/booking\/experiences-availability?rid=1326589&amp;restref=1326589&amp;experienceId=210996&amp;utm_source=external&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=shared\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Honu Oceanside<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The final restaurant honored in the Love for Lahaina pop-up series is Honu Oceanside, a West Side restaurant known for prime ocean views, where locals would treat themselves and visitors would indulge in a culinary adventure featuring fresh local ingredients. Honu will bring its positive vibes and aloha to Four Seasons Resort Maui, creating a culinary experience to remember.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Space is limited, and reservations are highly recommended to secure seats.
