Well, that was certainly an action-packed owner\u2019s week! It\u2019s only my second year participating in the social aspects surrounding our Annual General Meeting, there is so much behind the scenes that is entailed, and the bulk of the credit goes to a group of hardworking owners that volunteer and commit their time to making Ekahi the #1 Beach Resort in Maui! I didn\u2019t get a chance to say thank you or goodbye to all of you that participated but am so grateful to everyone that came to events and visited with friends old and new! I hope next year we can get a few more Owners here to play golf in our annual tournament, meet the Board of Directors, and get together at the Owner\u2019s Dinner. In 2025, <\/strong>our Annual General Meeting will be held on<\/strong> Friday February 28<\/strong>with festivities all week. You should make plans now and block your units in advance! It\u2019s so fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n We opened the Fitness Center with a bit of fanfare last Friday, so please inform your family and guests that the facility is now available from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily. Located just inside our Beach Pavilion, we installed 3 pieces of cardio equipment, dumbbells ranging from 1-50 lbs, and a few other accessories that provide a full body workout. You must be 18 or over, and no swim attire is permitted. We do require close-toed athletic shoes and ask that users dress appropriately. Just because we\u2019re by the beach, it doesn\u2019t mean wet shorts or sandy flip flops are ok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For those of you that voted on our Vote HOA NOW platform, you already know who the newly elected Directors are since we had 4 open seats for our 4 candidates. We were able to get about 68% towards quorum this year and will likely continue with electronic voting next year. I did update the contact information for the Board on our website but ask for your patience while our Chairs re-align their committees. I will circulate that information after our next Board meeting. It was also decided that our monthly Board meetings will take place on the second Tuesday of the month at 9:00 AM.
